Ingredients
150g Helsekorn quick-cooking hull-less barley flakes
100ml chopped almonds
100ml chopped walnuts
1 tablespoon sunflower seeds
1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds
100g dried apricots or raisins
5 tablespoons honey
200ml apple juice
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cardamom
A pinch of salt
200g dark chocolate
Instructions
- Toast the almonds and walnuts in a frying pan. Let cool and chop into small pieces.
- Cut the apricots into small strips.
- Heat the apple juice and add the honey and barley flakes.
- Add the remaining ingredients (except the chocolate) and mix well.
- Press the mixture firmly into a loaf pan.
- Pour melted chocolate over the top.
- Place in the refrigerator until set.
- Cut into bars of your desired size.
